International Students' Day is celebrated on November 17th to honor students' struggles for freedom and education. It originated from the 1939 Nazi storming of Charles University in Prague, where student Jan Opletal was killed. Today, it promotes unity, solidarity, and empowerment among students worldwide, highlighting their role in society.
The students of biological science organized national students day programme on 18/11/2024, at morning assembly. Anjali.kk conducted a speech about students day. She conveyed the importance of celebrating the day. It was very informative. We got wonderful feedbacks from students and teachers.
