 FOLKTALE SHARING SESSION

The Language Club of MCCTE Mahe organized an engaging Folktale Sharing Session on 04 November 2024 at 10:00 AM in the college campus. The programme aimed to promote cultural awareness, strengthen oral communication skills, and enhance students’ interest in traditional narratives from diverse communities.

The session began with a welcome address by the club coordinators, who highlighted the importance of folktales in preserving cultural heritage and transmitting moral values. Students enthusiastically participated by narrating folktales from various regions, each carrying unique themes, characters, and lessons.

The storytelling created a lively and interactive atmosphere, encouraging students to express themselves confidently while appreciating the richness of linguistic and cultural diversity. The activity also helped improve their fluency, pronunciation, and narrative skills.

The programme concluded with words of appreciation for the participants’ creativity and expressive storytelling. Overall, the Folktale Sharing Session was a meaningful and enriching experience, successfully fulfilling its objective of celebrating culture through language.
