DOCUMENTARY SCREENING
The Language Club of MCCTE Mahe organized a Documentary Screening on 21 November 2024 at 9:30 AM in the college campus. The programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding of language, culture, and communication through visual media.
The session began with a brief introduction by the club coordinators, who highlighted the educational value of documentaries in broadening perspectives and deepening conceptual understanding. The selected documentary offered meaningful insights related to language, culture, and societal themes, encouraging students to critically reflect on the content.
Students watched the screening with great interest, followed by an interactive discussion facilitated by the coordinators. Participants shared their interpretations, observations, and opinions, making the session thought-provoking and intellectually engaging. The activity helped improve analytical thinking, listening skills, and the ability to connect visual information with real-life contexts.
The programme concluded with appreciation for the students’ active participation and reflective responses.
