Poster Making Competition Held on Marie Curie Day
The Chemistry Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Poster Making Competition in connection with Marie Curie Day on 7 November 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the college campus.
The programme aimed to honour the remarkable contributions of Marie Curie, the pioneering scientist known for her discoveries in radioactivity and for being the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. The competition encouraged students to express their creativity while deepening their understanding of Curie’s scientific achievements and her impact on the world of chemistry and physics.
Participants prepared posters highlighting Marie Curie’s life, her groundbreaking research, her perseverance as a woman in science, and the relevance of her work in modern scientific developments.
