The eleventh day of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026”, organized by Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, in association with the Ektha College Union, was conducted on 30 April 2026 with enthusiastic participation and vibrant creative spirit among students.
The day featured two exciting competitions: Travelogue Writing (Malayalam) and Face Painting Competition. These events aimed to nurture students’ literary imagination, artistic creativity, and expressive abilities.
The Travelogue Writing (Malayalam) competition was held from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the College Auditorium. Participants showcased their narrative and descriptive writing skills by presenting engaging travel experiences and imaginative journeys in Malayalam. The event encouraged creativity, observation skills, and effective literary expression among students.
The Face Painting Competition was conducted from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Library. Students displayed remarkable artistic talent and imagination through colourful and expressive face painting designs based on various themes. The competition created a lively atmosphere and highlighted the participants’ creativity, precision, and visual presentation skills.
Both competitions were conducted successfully with active student participation and healthy competitive spirit. The events added artistic vibrancy and literary richness to the celebrations of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026,” making the day memorable and inspiring for all participants and organizers.
