The Day 5 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 18 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The events of the day focused on enhancing students’ literary expression and artistic creativity.
The competitions organized on the fifth day included Short Story Writing (Malayalam) and Clay Modeling Competition.
The Short Story Writing Competition in Malayalam was conducted in the auditorium from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and demonstrated their imagination, creativity, and language proficiency through engaging Malayalam short stories. The event encouraged students to express their ideas and storytelling abilities effectively.
The Clay Modeling Competition was held in the library from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. Participants showcased their artistic talent and creativity by designing attractive clay models using innovative concepts and techniques. The competition encouraged imagination, craftsmanship, and aesthetic expression among the students.
The programmes were organized smoothly with the active support and coordination of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created a lively and creative atmosphere on the campus and provided students with a valuable platform to exhibit their talents.
The fifth day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and staff, adding more colour and spirit to the fest celebrations.
