The Vishu–2026 Celebration was organized with great enthusiasm and festive spirit on 08 April 2026 at the auditorium of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé under the leadership of the Ektha College Union.
The programme aimed at celebrating the cultural richness and traditional values associated with Vishu, one of the most important festivals of Kerala. The campus was filled with joy and vibrant festive energy as students and faculty members actively participated in the celebrations.
Students arrived in traditional attire, adding colour and elegance to the occasion. Various cultural activities and informal gatherings enhanced the festive atmosphere and promoted unity, friendship, and cultural appreciation among the students. The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to come together and cherish the spirit of togetherness and harmony.
The programme venue was beautifully decorated in tune with the Vishu theme, reflecting the essence of Kerala culture and traditions. The active involvement and coordination of the College Union members and student volunteers ensured the smooth conduct of the celebration.
The Vishu celebration concluded successfully with happiness and enthusiasm, leaving memorable moments for all participants and strengthening the spirit of cultural unity within the college community.
