The tenth day of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026”, organized by Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, in association with the Ektha College Union, was conducted on 29 April 2026 with great enthusiasm and active student participation.
The competitions held on the day included Katha Niroopanam (English) and Charcoal Drawing Competition, providing students with opportunities to showcase their literary interpretation and artistic creativity.
The Katha Niroopanam (English) competition was conducted from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the College Auditorium. Participants demonstrated their analytical and language skills through effective narration and interpretation of stories. The event encouraged students to develop critical appreciation, communication skills, and creative expression in English.
The Charcoal Drawing Competition was held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Library. Students displayed remarkable artistic talent through expressive charcoal sketches and drawings. The competition provided a platform for participants to exhibit their imagination, shading techniques, and visual creativity.
Both events were conducted successfully in a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. The enthusiastic participation of students added artistic and intellectual richness to the celebrations of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026,” making the day a memorable experience for all participants and organizers.
