The Day 6 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 24 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The events of the day focused on encouraging students’ literary creativity and language proficiency in Malayalam.
The competitions organized on the sixth day included Essay Writing (Malayalam) and Slogan Writing (Malayalam).
The Essay Writing Competition in Malayalam was conducted in the auditorium from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and expressed their ideas, thoughts, and perspectives through well-structured and creative essays in Malayalam. The event provided an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their writing skills, critical thinking, and command over the language.
The Slogan Writing Competition in Malayalam was held in the library from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm. Participants actively engaged in creating impactful and meaningful slogans reflecting creativity, awareness, and originality. The competition encouraged students to convey strong ideas through concise and effective expressions.
The programmes were organized smoothly with the support and coordination of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created an engaging academic and creative atmosphere on the campus and motivated students to explore their literary talents.
The sixth day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and staff, further enriching the spirit of creativity and cultural expression within the institution.
