As part of the vibrant celebrations of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026” organized by Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, in association with the Ektha College Union 2025–26, various literary competitions were conducted to encourage students’ creativity, imagination, and linguistic talents.
The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing the groups Layam, Thaalam, Bhavam, and Varnam. The events provided a valuable platform for participants to express their thoughts, emotions, and artistic abilities through language and literature.
In the Caption Writing (Malayalam) competition, Sriya S (Bhavam) secured the first prize, while Swathi C T (Varnam) won the second prize. Nahal (Thaalam) achieved the third prize for the competition.
The Poem Writing (English) competition highlighted the literary creativity and poetic expression of students. Surmina V (Bhavam) secured the first prize, followed by Nivitha S Anil (Varnam) in the second position. Shradha Sudheer Kumar T K (Thaalam) won the third prize.
The competitions were conducted successfully in a creative and enthusiastic atmosphere. The active participation and outstanding performances of the students added colour and literary richness to the celebrations of “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026.”
