The Day 4 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 17 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The events of the day encouraged students to display their literary imagination and creative artistic skills.
The competitions organized on the fourth day included Short Story Writing (English) and Flower Making Competition.
The Short Story Writing Competition in English was conducted in the auditorium from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity, imagination, and language proficiency through engaging and well-structured short stories. The competition provided an opportunity for participants to express their ideas and storytelling abilities effectively.
The Flower Making Competition was held in the library from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. Participants displayed remarkable creativity and craftsmanship by designing decorative flowers using different materials and artistic techniques. The event encouraged innovation, aesthetic sense, and teamwork among the students.
The programmes were organized smoothly with the active support of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created a lively and creative atmosphere on the campus and motivated students to explore and develop their talents.
The fourth day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and staff, further strengthening the spirit of creativity and cultural celebration within the institution.
