The Day 2 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 08 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The competitions of the day encouraged students to exhibit their literary creativity and digital designing skills.
The events organized on the second day included Poem Writing (English) and Digital Poster Making.
The Poem Writing Competition was conducted in the auditorium from 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm. Students enthusiastically participated in the event and expressed their imagination, emotions, and creativity through meaningful and well-composed poems in English. The competition highlighted the literary talents and language proficiency of the participants.
The Digital Poster Making Competition was held in the library from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Participants showcased their artistic and technical skills by creating innovative and visually appealing digital posters based on the given themes. The event encouraged creativity, originality, and effective visual communication among students.
The programmes were organized smoothly with the support and coordination of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions provided students with an excellent platform to nurture their creative abilities and technological skills.
The second day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with active participation and appreciation from students and staff, adding more enthusiasm and spirit to the ongoing fest.
