Interactive Sharing Session
“From Lesson Plans to Life Lessons”
The IQAC of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé organized an interactive sharing session titled “From Lesson Plans to Life Lessons” on 25 April 2026 at the College Auditorium from 3.30 pm onwards.
The programme was organized as a platform for the Second Year B.Ed. students to share their experiences, reflections, and insights gained during their teaching practice sessions. The event aimed to encourage peer learning, reflective thinking, and professional growth among future educators.
The session provided students with an opportunity to discuss real classroom experiences, challenges faced during teaching practice, innovative teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and memorable learning moments from schools. The interactive discussions helped participants understand diverse perspectives and practical aspects of teaching beyond theoretical lesson planning.
Students actively engaged in sharing their experiences and reflections, making the session highly informative and inspiring. The programme also encouraged participants to learn from one another’s teaching journeys and strengthened their confidence as prospective teachers.
The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal, General Coordinator, and Mr. Arun U., Assistant Professor, IQAC Coordinator. Faculty members and students appreciated the initiative for creating a meaningful academic platform that promoted experiential learning and collaborative reflection.
The session concluded successfully with active participation and positive feedback from students and faculty members. The programme effectively highlighted the importance of reflective practice and experiential learning in teacher education.
