Essay Writing (English), Caption Writing (Malayalam), and Clay Modeling Competition-Day 7 programmes of “Kalaima”

 The Day 7 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 25 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The competitions of the day encouraged students to showcase their literary abilities and artistic creativity.

The events organized on the seventh day included Essay Writing (English), Caption Writing (Malayalam), and Clay Modeling Competition.

The Essay Writing Competition in English was conducted in the auditorium from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Students actively participated in the competition and expressed their thoughts, ideas, and perspectives through creative and well-structured essays. The event encouraged critical thinking, language proficiency, and effective written communication among the participants.

The Caption Writing Competition in Malayalam was held in the library from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm. Participants enthusiastically created meaningful and imaginative captions reflecting creativity and originality. The competition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their linguistic and creative skills in Malayalam.

The Clay Modeling Competition was organized in the library from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Students displayed their artistic talents and imagination by creating innovative clay models using different creative techniques. The competition encouraged craftsmanship, originality, and aesthetic expression among the participants.

The programmes were coordinated smoothly with the support of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere on the campus and motivated students to actively participate in literary and fine arts activities.

The seventh day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and staff, further strengthening the spirit of creativity and cultural celebration within the institution.
