The Day 3 programmes of “Kalaima” were successfully conducted on 16 April 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, under the auspices of the IQAC in association with Ektha College Union. The events of the day provided students with opportunities to showcase their literary creativity and artistic talents.
The competitions organized on the third day included Poem Writing (Malayalam) and Mehandi Competition.
The Poem Writing Competition in Malayalam was conducted in the auditorium from 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm. Students actively participated in the event and expressed their creativity, emotions, and thoughts through beautifully composed Malayalam poems. The competition highlighted the literary abilities and language skills of the participants.
The Mehandi Competition was held in the library from 12.30 pm onwards. Participants enthusiastically displayed their artistic talents by creating intricate and attractive mehndi designs. The competition encouraged creativity, precision, and originality among students. The participants followed the prescribed guidelines, including using their own materials and designing independently without external assistance.
The programmes were organized smoothly with the support and coordination of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created an engaging and vibrant atmosphere on the campus and encouraged students to explore their artistic and cultural interests.
The third day of “Kalaima” concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and staff, adding further excitement and spirit to the fest celebrations.
