ZUMBA SESSION

Zumba Session Organized in Connection with World Diabetes Day

The Zumba Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, organized an energetic fitness session on 14 November as part of the observance of World Diabetes Day. The programme was held with the objective of promoting physical fitness and creating awareness about diabetes prevention among students.

The event carried the theme “Move to Beat Diabetes,” highlighting the importance of regular physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The session encouraged participants to understand how simple movements, such as zumba exercises, can significantly contribute to better health and reduced risk of lifestyle diseases.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in the zumba routine. The session not only energized the participants but also successfully conveyed the message of staying active as a preventive measure against diabetes.
