The Co-operative Week Inauguration was conducted at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) on 14 November 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The programme was organized to mark the beginning of the National Co-operative Week celebrations and to highlight the values and importance of the co-operative movement.
The inauguration ceremony was formally conducted by Mr. Sajith Narayanan, President, who hoisted the Co-operative flag, symbolizing unity, collective effort, and the spirit of co-operation. The event took place in the presence of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal, MCCTE, along with enthusiastic participation from students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff.
The flag hoisting marked the official commencement of the week-long celebrations. The gathering reflected on the role of co-operatives in society and their contribution to community development. The participation of all members added significance to the event, creating an atmosphere of unity and shared purpose.
The programme concluded with a pledge to promote co-operative values and to actively participate in the upcoming activities planned for the Co-operative Week.
