Water Colour Competition

Children’s Day Celebration – 18 November 2025**

As part of the Children’s Day Celebration organized by the MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with the LIKHA College Union and IQAC, a vibrant Water Colour Competition was conducted on 18 November 2025 for the 6th and 7th standard students of the Mahe region.

The competition began at 10:30 AM following the registration session. Students participated with great enthusiasm, bringing their creativity and imagination to life through colours. The theme allowed children to express their ideas freely, resulting in a colourful display of artistic talent and originality.

Participants showcased a wide range of skills, from careful detailing to bold colour combinations. The competition provided an excellent opportunity for young learners to explore artistic expression, develop confidence, and improve their visual creativity.

Faculty members and judges evaluated the artworks based on creativity, composition, use of colour, and overall presentation. The students’ efforts were highly appreciated, and the competition revealed exceptional young talents.

The results of the Water Colour Competition were later announced during the Valedictory Function and Prize Distribution held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, where winners were honoured with trophies and certificates.

The event concluded successfully, encouraging students to continue nurturing their artistic abilities. The Water Colour Competition stood out as one of the most colourful and engaging segments of the Children’s Day Celebration.
