Children’s Day Celebration – 18 November 2025**

As part of the Children’s Day Celebration organized by the MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with the LIKHA College Union and IQAC, an energetic and highly spirited Tug of War Competition was held on 18 November 2025 for the 6th and 7th standard students of the Mahe region.

The event took place outdoors in a vibrant setting decorated with colourful flags, creating an enthusiastic and festive atmosphere. Students from different schools participated eagerly, forming teams that displayed unity, strength, and determination. Teachers, student volunteers, and peers surrounded the play area, cheering loudly and encouraging the participants throughout the event.

The competition tested not only physical strength but also teamwork, coordination, and strategy. Each team pulled the rope with intense focus and collective effort, making the rounds thrilling and competitive. The excitement among the spectators added to the liveliness of the event, turning the Tug of War into one of the most engaging and entertaining activities of the day.

Judges ensured fair play, while volunteers helped manage safety and team arrangements. The winning team was celebrated for their teamwork and resilience.

Winners of the Tug of War Competition were honoured during the Valedictory Function and Prize Distribution held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, where they received trophies and certificates.

The event concluded with smiles, applause, and a strong sense of sportsmanship, making the Tug of War Competition a memorable highlight of the Children’s Day Celebration.
