Solo Dance Competition
Children’s Day Celebration – 18 November 2025**
As part of the Children’s Day Celebration conducted by the MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with the LIKHA College Union and IQAC, an energetic and colourful Solo Dance Competition was held on 18 November 2025 for the 6th and 7th standard students of the Mahe region.
The competition drew enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their passion for dance through graceful movements, rhythm, and expressive choreography. Each participant brought a unique style to the stage, ranging from classical to cinematic performances, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere.
The event provided a platform for students to express their creativity, confidence, and stage presence. The audience enjoyed watching the young performers demonstrate their talent, coordination, and enthusiasm.
Judges evaluated the performances based on criteria such as rhythm, expression, choreography, costume, and overall presentation. The competition highlighted exceptional young talent, making it one of the most entertaining segments of the programme.
The winners were felicitated during the Valedictory Function and Prize Distribution held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, where they received trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The Solo Dance Competition concluded successfully, encouraging students to continue pursuing their artistic interests and celebrating the spirit of Children’s Day with joy and confidence.
