The Physical Education Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Women’s Tug of War Competition on 2nd May 2025 at 10:30 AM as part of its sports and fitness initiatives aimed at promoting teamwork, strength, and active participation among women students.

The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a briefing on the rules, safety measures, and the importance of maintaining sportsmanship throughout the competition. Students were enthusiastic and eager to participate, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Multiple teams competed with great determination and spirit. Each match showcased:

  • Excellent coordination and teamwork

  • Physical strength and endurance

  • Strategic pulling techniques

  • Encouraging cheers and supportive participation from peers

The competition was conducted safely under the supervision of Physical Education coordinators who ensured fair play and smooth organization of the event.

The final round witnessed a thrilling contest between the top teams, drawing loud cheers from the audience. Winners were announced at the end of the event and were appreciated for their outstanding performance. All participating teams were acknowledged for their effort, enthusiasm, and sports spirit.
