TRAVEL BINGO GAME

The Tour Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a fun-filled and educational Travel Bingo Game on 8th May 2025 at 3:30 PM with the objective of enhancing students’ geographical knowledge, travel awareness, quick thinking, and active participation through an interactive learning format. The programme was designed to make learning about travel and tourism enjoyable and engaging.
The programme began with a brief explanation of the rules of the Travel Bingo Game. Students were provided with bingo cards containing names of countries, cities, famous landmarks, tourist attractions, and travel-related terms. As clues were called out based on geography, culture, and tourism facts, students identified and marked the correct answers on their bingo cards.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement, remaining highly attentive throughout the game. The activity promoted alertness, listening skills, general knowledge, and quick decision-making. The competitive spirit added energy to the session while maintaining a friendly and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Faculty coordinators observed the game and encouraged the participants, ensuring smooth and fair conduct of the activity. The interaction among students created a joyful environment, strengthening peer bonding and teamwork. Students expressed that the activity helped them revise travel-related facts in a fun and stress-free manner.
The winners were appreciated with small tokens of recognition, and all participants were congratulated for their active involvement. Students shared that the Travel Bingo Game was both entertaining and educational, helping them learn new travel facts while enjoying the game.
The programme concluded with words of appreciation from the coordinators, who encouraged students to continue participating in such creative learning activities. The Travel Bingo Game was a lively and meaningful initiative, reflecting the Tour Club’s commitment to promoting joyful learning, travel awareness, and student engagement through innovative activities.
