GLOBAL DAY OF PARENTS
The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education observed the Global Day of Parents on June 4, 2025, in honour of the internationally recognized date, June 1. This day is marked globally to appreciate and acknowledge the role of parents in nurturing and shaping future generations.
To commemorate the occasion, a special program was organized at the college, where Ms. Anjana Das from the Department of Mathematics delivered an insightful and heartfelt speech. In her address, she emphasized the selfless love, sacrifices, and unwavering support that parents provide throughout a child's life. She highlighted how parental guidance forms the backbone of character development and educational growth.
Ms. Anjana also drew attention to the need for today's youth to express gratitude towards their parents and urged everyone to strengthen family bonds through understanding, respect, and open communication. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, leaving a strong emotional impact.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a moment of silent reflection, allowing attendees to appreciate the irreplaceable role parents play in our lives.
