The Physical Education Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Skipping Challenge on 8th May 2025 at 12:00 PM as part of its initiative to promote physical fitness, stamina building, and active participation among students.

The programme began with a welcome address followed by instructions on the rules of the challenge, safety guidelines, and the correct skipping techniques to avoid injuries. Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating eagerness to showcase their fitness levels.

Participants were evaluated based on:

  • Maximum number of continuous skips

  • Endurance and stamina

  • Accuracy and technique

  • Overall performance and consistency

The event was lively and energetic, with students cheering for one another and motivating their peers. The challenge helped participants improve cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and agility.

Physical Education coordinators supervised the activity to ensure fair play and safe participation throughout the event.

After an exciting series of rounds, the winners were announced and appreciated for their impressive performance. All participants received positive encouragement for taking part and promoting a culture of fitness on campus.

The Skipping Challenge was a successful and enjoyable event, highlighting the Physical Education Club’s commitment to fostering health, wellness, and active engagement among students.
