ONLINE PLAYLIST CREATION COMPETITION

The Dance Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organized an Online Playlist Creation Competition on 12th May 2025 at 4:30 PM with the aim of encouraging students to creatively curate music suitable for dance, fitness, and entertainment purposes.
Participants were asked to prepare playlists based on a selected theme, mood, or dance style and submit them through the designated online platform. The activity encouraged students to explore their musical tastes, understand rhythm patterns, and design playlists that enhance dance performances.
A large number of students took part in the competition, presenting playlists that were unique, well-arranged, and thoughtfully curated. The judging panel evaluated the entries based on creativity, theme clarity, song selection, flow, and overall listening experience.
The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity in digital format while also strengthening their understanding of music arrangement. The online format made participation flexible and accessible for all students.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners and appreciation for all participants. Overall, the Online Playlist Creation Competition was a successful and engaging activity, reflecting the Dance Club’s commitment to promoting creativity and musical awareness among students.
