FAVOURITE FILM STORY TELLING SESSION CONDUCTED BY FILM CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE

The Film Club of MCCTE, Mahe conducted an interesting and interactive Favourite Film Story Telling Session on 6 May 2025 at 3:00 PM in the college campus. The programme aimed to enhance students’ communication skills, creativity, and appreciation of cinema through reflective storytelling.

The session began with a welcome address by the club coordinators, who explained the purpose of the activity and emphasized the value of narrating film stories as a means of exploring themes, character journeys, and cinematic techniques. Participants were encouraged to choose their favourite films and narrate the story in an engaging and original manner.

Students enthusiastically presented stories from a variety of films, sharing their personal interpretations, favourite scenes, and reasons for choosing the particular film. The storytelling showcased creativity, expressive narration, and an understanding of plot structure. The atmosphere was lively, encouraging participants to connect over shared cinematic experiences.

Faculty members appreciated the participants’ confidence, clarity, and narrative flow, providing constructive comments to help them refine their storytelling skills. The session effectively strengthened verbal communication, critical thinking, and film appreciation.
