Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé, through the IQAC in association with the Asthra Women’s Cell, organized a Photo Contest in connection with Mother’s Day 2026. The competition was conducted with the theme “Every picture tells the story of a mother’s love” under the hashtag #Tiny me with mom.
The contest aimed to celebrate the emotional bond between mothers and children by encouraging students to share memorable photographs that reflected love, affection, care, and cherished moments with their mothers. The programme provided students with an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation towards their mothers through creative visual storytelling.
Participants enthusiastically submitted photographs capturing beautiful memories and emotional connections with their mothers. The event created a warm and joyful atmosphere among students and promoted the values of love, gratitude, and family bonding.
The competition was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal, coordinated by Mr. Arun U, Assistant Professor and IQAC Co-ordinator, Mr. Vipin K, Assistant Professor and Union Co-ordinator, and Mrs. Nyji O, Assistant Professor and Women Cell Co-ordinator.
The Mother’s Day Photo Contest successfully encouraged students to celebrate motherhood and preserve precious memories while spreading the message of love and appreciation for mothers.
