The Chenda Competition was organized as part of KALAIMA 2K26, the Fine Arts Festival of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, on Day 1 under Stage 1. The competition celebrated Kerala's iconic percussion tradition by providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their rhythmic skills, coordination, and mastery of the Chenda, one of the state's most celebrated traditional musical instruments.
