As part of the vibrant arts festival KALAIMA 2K26, the English Elocution Competition was conducted on Day 1 under Stage 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to exhibit their public speaking abilities, command over the English language, and confidence in expressing their thoughts before an audience.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing different houses. Participants delivered well-structured and engaging speeches on the allotted topics, demonstrating clarity of expression, originality of ideas, effective voice modulation, and persuasive communication skills. Their presentations reflected careful preparation, critical thinking, and excellent stage presence.
The performances were evaluated by a panel of judges based on content, language proficiency, pronunciation, fluency, confidence, time management, and overall delivery.
