Teaching Practice Observation 

As part of the B.Ed. internship programme, a teaching practice observation was conducted at PM SRI Usman Government High School, Chalakkara, Mahe, Puducherry, on 19 February 2026 at 11:26 AM. The purpose of this observation was to gain practical exposure to classroom teaching, school environment, and student behaviour.

The school is a government institution functioning under the PM SHRI scheme and is well-maintained with adequate infrastructure. The campus appeared clean, organized, and supportive of academic activities. Classrooms were spacious, properly ventilated, and equipped with basic facilities. Educational charts and materials displayed within the school indicated an active and engaging learning atmosphere.

During the observation, the teaching-learning process was found to be effective and student-friendly. The teacher used clear and simple language while explaining the lesson, which helped students grasp the concepts easily. The class was interactive, with students actively participating and responding to questions. The teacher maintained good classroom discipline and ensured that all students were attentive and involved.

The observation also emphasized the importance of proper planning, communication skills, and the use of suitable teaching methods. The student-teachers present during the visit showed professionalism and enthusiasm towards learning effective teaching practices.

Overall, the observation was a valuable and enriching experience. It provided practical insights into real classroom situations and enhanced understanding of teaching techniques and classroom management. This experience contributed significantly to the development of teaching skills and confidence.
