National Women’s Day – Speech Competition Winners
Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe
In connection with the National Women’s Day celebrations, the IQAC in association with the Ektha College Union and in collaboration with the Asthra Women Cell organised a Speech Competition on 13th February 2026 at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe.
The competition provided a platform for students to articulate their thoughts on women’s empowerment, equality, leadership, and social transformation. Participants delivered insightful and inspiring speeches highlighting the role of women in shaping society and promoting inclusive development.
The winners of the competition are as follows:

The winners were appreciated for their clarity of thought, confidence, originality, and impactful delivery. The competition not only enhanced public speaking skills but also encouraged critical reflection on gender issues and women’s contributions to society.
The Principal, Staff, Management, and Students of the institution congratulated the winners for their commendable performance and active participation.
The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the spirit of empowerment and academic excellence within the campus community.
