National Women’s Day Celebration – Arm Wrestling Competition 2026

The IQAC in association with the Ektha College Union organised an Arm Wrestling Competition on the occasion of National Women’s Day on 13th February 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the Open Hall of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe.
The programme was conducted with the objective of celebrating women’s strength, determination, confidence, and empowerment. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, unity, and the spirit of healthy competition among students while honouring the significance of National Women’s Day.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who displayed remarkable energy, courage, and sportsmanship. The event created an atmosphere of excitement and encouragement, highlighting the physical and mental strength of women and reinforcing the message of gender equality and empowerment.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal (MCCTE), who served as the General Co-ordinator. The IQAC Co-ordinator, Mr. Arun U, Assistant Professor (MCCTE), and the Union Co-ordinator, Mr. Vipin K, Assistant Professor (MCCTE), coordinated the smooth conduct of the event.
The celebration concluded successfully with active student engagement and a renewed commitment to promoting women’s empowerment within the campus community.
