Teaching Practice Observation
As part of the B.Ed. internship programme, a teaching practice observation was conducted at GVHSS Kadirur, Thalassery, Kerala, on 13 February 2026 at 10:44 AM. The observation was carried out to understand the school environment, teaching methods, and student participation in classroom activities.
The school campus is well-maintained and provides a pleasant atmosphere for learning. The surroundings include greenery and educational displays, which contribute to a positive and motivating environment. The infrastructure of the school is satisfactory, with properly arranged classrooms and necessary facilities for both teachers and students.
During the observation, the teaching-learning process was found to be interactive and effective. The teacher explained the lesson in a clear and simple manner, making it easy for students to understand. Students were attentive, disciplined, and actively participated in the class. The teacher maintained good classroom control and encouraged student involvement through questioning and discussion.
The observation also highlighted the importance of communication skills, proper lesson planning, and the use of appropriate teaching aids. The student-teachers present during the observation showed professionalism and enthusiasm in observing and learning teaching practices.
