The department also organised a skit competition on the day, the theme The pain and sufferings of one:The reality of being positive with AIDS. The program was organised at the college auditorium and started at 2. 45. The programwas anchored by swathi and organised by all students of the department, The program started with an awareness speech delivered by biological Science_association representative Anjali K K .
Later the stage was set for conducting spot skit competition. The competition was judged by our college teachers, Surendran A.P, Nyji Narayanan, Padmalekha and Revathy madhusoodhan. Principal mam Dr sreelatha was invited as part of the program. Three departments participated in the competition. The judgment was on the basis of qualities like justice to the theme, acting skill and general impression. All the three departments actively participated.
The first prize was awarded to the English department, the second prize was awarded to the social science department, and third to the physical science department. The program turned out to be very effective. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Anjali.
