ENGLISH WORD CHAIN ACTIVITY
The English Club of MCCTE Mahe conducted an engaging English Word Chain activity on 20 December 2024 at 2:30 PM in the college campus. The programme aimed to enhance the vocabulary skills of students and to promote quick thinking and language proficiency in an enjoyable manner.
The session began with a brief introduction by the club coordinators, who explained the rules of the word chain game and motivated participants to use the activity as an opportunity to strengthen their command over English. Students were divided into small groups, and each group actively took part in forming continuous chains of English words based on the last letter of the previous word.
The activity created a lively and interactive atmosphere, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and linguistic competence. Participants showcased enthusiasm and competitive spirit, making the event both educational and entertaining.
The programme concluded with an appreciation note for all participants and organisers. The English Word Chain activity effectively fulfilled its objective of promoting language learning through a fun-based approach.
