Zero Discrimination Day is marked every year on March 1 by the United Nations (UN) and other international organisations. This day is observed by all UN member countries and it aims to promote equality before the law.

Executive Director of UNAIDS Michel Sidéki launched Zero Discrimination Day in Beijing on March 1, 2014.

For a social or political issue it is pivotal to avoid all sorts of discrimination. For a humanity, it is flourishing when there is no discrimination.

Mathematics association of Mahe co teachers education conducted a program on 01 March 2024 to celebrate Zero Discrimination day. The program was held at 08:00 pm. Insaana, First year B ed mathematics student was the anchor. First year B ed mathematics student was also invited to talk about the topic of the poster competition "Zero Discrimination and its importance. The poster making competition was to protect everyone's right".

Pravitha First year B Ed social science student won the first prize, Sarang, First year B Ed physical science student won the second prize and Siham, First year B Ed English student won the third prize.
