The International Day of the Unborn Child is an annual commemoration of unborn foetuses, observed as a day of opposition to abortion, on March 25. It was established by Pope John Paul II to coincide with the Feast of the Annunciation.

At the assembly, we celebrated the day with a talk and poster making competition. Shana MK, first year B.Ed Physical science student, made a speech about international day of the unborn child. After that, we conducted a poster making competition emphasizing the importance of this day. We invited posters from the participants. Arathi from first year B.Ed English department chose first prize, Drishya from first year B.Ed Mathematics department secured second and C from first year B.Ed Social Science department secured third position respectively."
