REPORT ON LITERACY DAY
Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education observed World Literacy Day on 8th September 2024 with great enthusiasm and commitment to spreading awareness about the importance of literacy in shaping an equitable and progressive society.
A literacy awareness talk led by student-teachers in the assembly. Students actively participated in the talk.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the program coordinator, followed by the national anthem.
Overall, the World Literacy Day celebration served as an important reminder of the college's role in nurturing future educators who are committed to fostering literacy, empowerment, and social transformation.
