First Year School Internship Visit

Government Lower Primary School, Palloor West

As part of the First Year B.Ed. School Internship Programme, a group of student teachers visited Government Lower Primary School Palloor West. The visit was organised to provide student teachers with practical exposure to the functioning of a primary school and to help them understand the teaching–learning process at the elementary level.

During the visit, the student teachers observed the school infrastructure, classroom environment, and the daily activities of the institution. The school provides primary education to children in the locality and plays an important role in developing the foundational learning skills of young learners.

The interns interacted with the teachers and school authorities to gain knowledge about classroom management, teaching strategies, and the use of teaching aids in primary classes. They also observed how teachers engage students through interactive and activity-based learning methods suitable for young children.

The visit helped the student teachers understand the importance of patience, effective communication, and creativity in teaching at the primary level. It also enabled them to relate the theoretical knowledge gained in the B.Ed. course with the practical aspects of teaching in a real classroom setting.

Overall, the visit to Government Lower Primary School, Palloor West was an enriching experience for the first-year B.Ed. students. It provided them with valuable insights into the functioning of a primary school and helped them develop a better understanding of the responsibilities and role of a teacher.
