Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, proudly celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India on 26th January 2026 with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration was organised under the banner of the Ektha College Union 2025–26.

Republic Day marks the historic occasion when the Constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950, establishing India as a sovereign democratic republic. The programme was conducted to instill constitutional values, unity, integrity, and national pride among the students.

The campus was adorned with the tricolour theme, symbolising unity in diversity and the strength of the nation. The celebration highlighted the significance of the Constitution and reminded the students of their duties and responsibilities as responsible citizens of the country.

Faculty members and students actively participated in the programme, reflecting on the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution. The event served as a meaningful occasion to reaffirm commitment to national development and social harmony.

The Republic Day celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and collective responsibility among the student community.
