 73rd Indian Republic Day Celebration

The Social Science Association – “Legacy Leavers” of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe organized a programme in connection with the 73rd Indian Republic Day on 26 January 2022 at 10:00 AM in the college premises. The programme aimed to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to promote patriotism and awareness about democratic values among students.

The celebration included an informative talk by Sreya K. P, who highlighted the historical significance of Republic Day and the importance of the Constitution in safeguarding the rights and duties of citizens. The talk inspired students to understand their responsibilities as future citizens and educators in strengthening democratic principles.

As part of the celebration, several competitions were organized for students, including Quiz, Poster Making, and Speech competitions. The students actively participated in these activities and demonstrated their knowledge, creativity, and public speaking skills. The competitions helped create awareness about the values of freedom, unity, and national integrity.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, making the celebration meaningful and memorable. The event successfully instilled a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for the Constitution among the participants.

The programme concluded with appreciation for the efforts of the organizers and the active involvement of students in making the 73rd Republic Day celebration a grand success.
