The Social Science Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Poster Making Competition on 12th August 2024 at 10:30 AM. The event aimed to encourage creativity among students while raising awareness about socially significant issues. The programme began with a welcome note and instructions regarding the rules of the competition. Students enthusiastically participated and created posters based on themes such as human rights, environmental protection, youth empowerment, national integration, gender equality, and social justice.

Participants used various artistic materials to design posters that were visually appealing and impactful. Their artworks reflected originality, clarity of message, and strong awareness of social concerns. Faculty coordinators and judges evaluated the posters based on creativity, relevance to the theme, presentation, and overall visual impact. The posters were later displayed across the campus, helping spread awareness among the college community.

The event provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas artistically while enhancing their understanding of important social issues. It also encouraged confidence, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship. The programme concluded with appreciation for all participants and acknowledgment of their sincere efforts.
