INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Social Science Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2024 at 10:00 AM with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The programme aimed to honour India’s freedom struggle, pay tribute to national leaders, and instill a sense of unity, responsibility, and national pride among students.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students and faculty members gathered with pride to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day.
1. Welcome and Introduction
A welcome address was delivered by the coordinators, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and India’s journey towards becoming a sovereign nation. The importance of democratic values, equality, freedom, and national integrity was emphasized.

Students presented a variety of performances reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage and patriotic spirit, including:
