The inauguration of the Science Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, was held on 24th July 2024 in the college premises. The program was organized with the objective of fostering scientific interest and promoting innovation among student teachers.
The inaugural session was graced by the presence of the General Coordinator, Dr. Sreelatha K, the IQAC Coordinator, Mr. Arun U, and the Teacher Coordinator, Ms. Reeshma T.M. The event began with a welcome address, followed by the formal inauguration of the club.
In her address, Dr. Sreelatha K highlighted the importance of developing a scientific outlook in teaching and encouraged students to utilize the platform for their academic growth. The coordinators also stressed the role of the club in enhancing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among prospective teachers.
The program concluded with an interactive session in which students expressed their enthusiasm to participate in the forthcoming activities such as seminars, experiments, exhibitions, and workshops. The event was a grand success, marking the beginning of a vibrant and active Science Club in the college.
