Paper Pen Distribution Programme on World Energy Conservation Day

The Energy Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Paper Pen Distribution Programme in observance of World Energy Conservation Day on 22 July 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in the college campus.

The programme aimed to promote environmental responsibility, reduce plastic usage, and encourage sustainable alternatives among students. As part of the initiative, eco-friendly paper pens were distributed to all participants to raise awareness about the importance of choosing biodegradable and energy-efficient products in daily life.

The event began with a brief address on the significance of World Energy Conservation Day, highlighting the need to adopt energy-saving practices and sustainable lifestyle choices. Students actively participated and engaged in discussions about renewable energy, conservation strategies, and reducing carbon footprint.

The distribution of paper pens served as a symbolic gesture to inspire students to minimize dependency on non-recyclable stationery and adopt greener alternatives. Faculty members and club coordinators facilitated the smooth conduct of the programme and motivated students to practice environmental stewardship.

The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the Energy Club’s commitment to promoting sustainability, energy conservation, and environmental awareness within the institution.
