World Introvert Day 2024 Report
On January 2nd, 2024, the English department students of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education organized a program to commemorate World Introvert Day. The event was conducted online via Google Meet.
The program aimed to appreciate and understand the unique qualities of introverts, who are often characterized as quiet and reserved individuals who prefer spending time alone rather than socializing frequently. A talk was conducted by Smera to raise awareness about introversion and highlight that being a "quiet one" is not something to be ashamed of, but rather something awesome.
In addition, a poetry competition was held. Students in each depatment submitted a poem.Santhwana from the physical science departmentbwas the competion winner.
The event was part of the students' internship program, where first-year students were assigned to conduct monthly events using online programming. The program was successfully led by the English department students.
Overall, the World Introvert Day 2024 program at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education was a meaningful initiative that promoted understanding and appreciation of introversion among students.
