The Physical Science Association of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education organized an insightful program on the occasion of International Mind-Body Wellness Day on January 3rd. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of holistic health by integrating both mental and physical well-being.
The event began with a warm welcome and a brief introduction about the significance of International Mind-Body Wellness Day. It was followed by an informative session conducted by Dr. Pramathakala, a medical expert holding MBBS and DNB qualifications. She enlightened the audience on the importance of balancing mental and physical health, offering valuable insights and practical tips for maintaining overall well-being.
Afterward, Amrutha U R delivered an inspiring talk that focused on personal wellness strategies. Her address was motivational and resonated well with the participants, encouraging them to adopt a more mindful and healthy lifestyle.
To conclude the program on an engaging and light-hearted note, a Sudoku game was organized.Ashil A K from 1st year Biological science won first position in the game. Siham Rahim and Athira Pavithran from the first year English department bagged second and third position respectively. This activity not only provided mental stimulation but also added an element of fun and interaction to the evening.
Overall, the celebration of International Mind-Body Wellness Day was a successful and enriching experience. It effectively combined education with entertainment, creating awareness while fostering a sense of community among the participants.
