The competitions organized on the sixth day included Essay Writing (Malayalam) and Slogan Writing (Malayalam).

The Essay Writing Competition in Malayalam was conducted in the auditorium from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and expressed their ideas, thoughts, and perspectives through well-structured and creative essays in Malayalam. The event provided an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their writing skills, critical thinking, and command over the language.

The Slogan Writing Competition in Malayalam was held in the library from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm. Participants actively engaged in creating impactful and meaningful slogans reflecting creativity, awareness, and originality. The competition encouraged students to convey strong ideas through concise and effective expressions.

The programmes were organized smoothly with the support and coordination of faculty members, student volunteers, and the College Union representatives. The competitions created an engaging academic and creative atmosphere on the campus and motivated students to explore their literary talents.

 Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahé conducted the Practical Examination (Commission) at Government Middle School, Mahé on 21 April 2026 as part of the academic evaluation and teaching practice programme of student teachers.

The practical examination was organized to assess the teaching competency, classroom management skills, communication abilities, and professional attitude of the teacher trainees. The session was conducted under the supervision of the commission members and faculty coordinators.

During the examination, the student teachers handled classroom sessions effectively and demonstrated various teaching strategies, teaching aids, and interactive learning methods. The students of Government Middle School actively participated in the classroom activities, creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

The commission carefully evaluated the lesson planning, presentation skills, subject knowledge, student interaction, and overall classroom performance of the trainees. Constructive suggestions and feedback were provided to help enhance their teaching practices and professional development.

As part of the preparations for “Kalaima – Fine Arts 2026”, Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé officially announced the Captains and Vice Captains of the various groups under the leadership of the Ektha College Union 2025–26.

The appointment of captains and vice captains aimed at ensuring effective coordination, leadership, teamwork, and enthusiastic participation in the fine arts activities and competitions conducted as part of the fest. The competitions organized on the third day included Poem Writing (Malayalam) and Mehandi Competition.

The Poem Writing Competition in Malayalam was conducted in the auditorium from 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm. Students actively participated in the event and expressed their creativity, emotions, and thoughts through beautifully composed Malayalam poems. The competition highlighted the literary abilities and language skills of the participants.

The Mehandi Competition was held in the library from 12.30 pm onwards. Participants enthusiastically displayed their artistic talents by creating intricate and attractive mehndi designs. The competition encouraged creativity, precision, and originality among students. The participants followed the prescribed guidelines, including using their own materials and designing independently without external assistance.

Vishu–2026 Celebration

 The Vishu–2026 Celebration was organized with great enthusiasm and festive spirit on 08 April 2026 at the auditorium of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahé under the leadership of the Ektha College Union.

The programme aimed at celebrating the cultural richness and traditional values associated with Vishu, one of the most important festivals of Kerala. The campus was filled with joy and vibrant festive energy as students and faculty members actively participated in the celebrations.

Students arrived in traditional attire, adding colour and elegance to the occasion. Various cultural activities and informal gatherings enhanced the festive atmosphere and promoted unity, friendship, and cultural appreciation among the students. The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to come together and cherish the spirit of togetherness and harmony.
