RED RIBBON DRAMA COMPETITION

A Red Ribbon Drama Competition was conducted at MCCTE, Mahe, on 10 September 2026 at 3:30 p.m. as part of the institution's awareness and social responsibility initiatives.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, stigma, and the importance of compassion and social responsibility. The drama competition provided the students with an engaging platform to communicate important health and social messages through creative performances.

Students actively participated in the competition and presented meaningful dramas highlighting various aspects of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. Through their performances, they conveyed messages about safe practices, awareness, empathy, prevention, and the need to eliminate discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.

The programme was informative as well as entertaining, enabling students to understand a serious social issue through an effective performing-arts approach. The active participation and creative presentations of the students contributed to the success of the event.

The competition concluded with appreciation for the participants and their efforts in spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS. The event served as a valuable opportunity to promote health awareness, social responsibility, empathy, and a stigma-free society among the students of MCCTE, Mahe.
