B.Ed. Orientation Programme – Session 3

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organised Session 3 of the B.Ed. Orientation Programme, titled “Ignite”, on 13 August 2026 at 10:00 AM at the College Auditorium.

The session was organised for the B.Ed. students as part of the orientation programme to familiarise them with the academic environment, expectations and various aspects of their teacher education journey. The programme aimed to motivate and encourage the prospective teachers to begin their course with confidence, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

The resource person for the session was Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal, MCCTE. She interacted with the students and shared valuable insights and guidance regarding their academic and professional development. The session focused on motivating the students to actively participate in academic activities, develop professional competencies and make effective use of the opportunities available during their B.Ed. programme.

The interaction was informative and engaging, providing the students with an opportunity to understand the responsibilities and expectations associated with the teaching profession. The session also encouraged students to develop a spirit of commitment, collaboration and continuous learning.

The programme was coordinated by Mr. Arun U., IQAC Co-ordinator and Assistant Professor, MCCTE, under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal, MCCTE.

The session concluded successfully with the students gaining useful guidance and motivation for their academic journey and future career as teachers.
